SoRi is a stencil artist from the Rhône-Alpes region in France who creates work in the streets, with the public, and in galleries.
Fascinated by drawing from an early age, it wasn’t long before her artistic talents stood out: at 13 she was asked to paint murals on the school walls in what would become her first experience of working with acrylics and inks.
After a baccalaureate in Applied Arts in Saint Etienne, she went on to study fashion design in Lyon.
It was during this period that she discovered her passion for working with materials.
SoRi explores and mixes different techniques, with stencilling remaining her favourite. She combines the latter with fabric, among other things, to design and produce original stencil works on fabric, including in a Street Art style.
